I got this OP in a trade with a friend. I tend to steer away from velvet in my wardrobe, as it's quite difficult to care for. So, of course, I decided to throw myself in at the deep end and get this dress made entirely of cream velvet. It turned out be to easier to care for than exected. I was able to wash it on a cool cycle in my machine with no drama. At some point in it's life, an owner saw fit to completely change the style of the sleeves. This dress originally had big hime sleeves. I wonder if at some point they got damaged? Whoever altered it did a very professional looking job and the lace matches the dress perfectly. I think this dress has a very princessy vibe.
